All the umbrella shapes are in black and white, and all are relatively simple outlines, although with differing levels of detail. That means plenty of opportunity for coloring!

3D Umbrella Outlines
These 3D outlines of umbrellas are the first type of printable umbrellas. These are one of the more detailed options, and they all contain images of opened umbrellas that are drawn with a 3D effect.
These are of course great for coloring, crafting and whatever creativity you wish. In particular, the fact they’re 3D makes them a really great resource for teaching kids about shading and shadows. Imagine a light source, then guide your kids to consider where shadows may form and get them to draw these in.
Side View Umbrella Stencils
These side view umbrella printouts are the classic idea and design of an umbrella. They’re in a slightly less detailed version than the 3D ones, and they’re all opened umbrellas seen from the side view.
These would work really well as umbrella puppets or as a thing for young kids to play creative games with. Print them on a strong material like cardstock (or just glue them onto some cardboard if you don’t have this), cut them out, and then decorate them however you would like. Now you have the perfect little umbrella to use for imaginary scenarios or puppet shows!
Folded Umbrella Outlines
These folded umbrella outlines are another great one. They contain images of umbrellas which are all folded away.
There are plenty of things you can do with these, and a good start is often to cut them out, especially because it’s a great skill for little ones to practice (supervized of course). It improves their fine motor skills and using their hands is always a good way to keep them occupied!

Then, you can color in the umbrella cut out. All of these worksheets will be great coloring practice, and let’s face it – what kid doesn’t love to color from time to time!
Then stick them onto a larger piece of card, and get your kids to make a fun collage. They can build letters out of the shapes, use other umbrella templates from a different worksheet, and draw other things around it.
Large Blank Umbrella Outlines
These large blank umbrella images all contain a simple design of a single umbrella. Each of the umbrellas are opened and some are at an angle. This is the most plain design we have, but this just means there’s lots more you can do with them!
These are probably the best design for simple coloring. Especially for young ones, but really for anyone of any age! Kids can just color them, or they can even draw fun patterns or designs over it. It’s up to them how detailed they’d like to be.
These would be great if you’re looking for a fun activity to introduce kids to one another. Give them all an umbrella printout to design or color in any way they’d like, and ensure their name is on it somewhere.
Then, kids can take turns describing why they chose the design that they did, and introduce themselves a little. You could even then stick these designs onto a stand and they can display people’s designs and importantly their names!

Beach Umbrella Templates
These are our most fun and definitely the most tropical design we have! These worksheets show beach umbrella stencils – there are two regular ones, and one worksheet which contains 9 mini ones.
These would be great for a beach or ocean themed party. Get kids to decorate their own umbrella printable for a fun creative activity, or even follow the idea above to allow kids to introduce themselves to one another.
Or they would even be great decorations. Take the mini umbrella pictures and sprinkle them around the main table. Or print them, decorate them, and then stick these onto larger posters and decorations you’re using around the party.
