Here are a few simple ideas to help you get the most out of our printable blank face templates:

• Our fantastic ready-made face templates are perfect for studying a topic such as “All About Me”. Drawing a self-portrait can be daunting from scratch, but our printable face templates give your child a basic outline so all they have to do is draw extra features and color in hair in the correct shade. If all the kids in a class have a go at drawing a self-portrait, you can create a fun display that helps the children get to know each other.
• Why not use our printable face templates to kick off some creative writing or story-telling? Ask your little one to draw a character’s face on the blank template, then get them to create a short story that centers on that character. It’s a fun way to help children improve their narrative skills.

1. Print the mask template onto strong white card.
2. Decorate the mask using pens, crayons, glitter etc.
3. Cut carefully around the outside edge of the face.
4. Using a hole punch, make two holes on each side of the mask at an equal distance.
5. Thread some string or elastic through the holes so that the mask can be tied in place.

• Even the youngest children can enjoy using our printable face templates, and you don’t have to limit little ones to using crayons or pens.
